January 2012 - May 2013American Health Associates is one of the largest Senior Care Medical Laboratories on the East Coast. AHA has nine laboratories throughout the southeast and responsible for the clinical diagnostic results for over 500 Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Physician customers. As Director of Operations for the Mid Atlantic, Arden Bourgeois was instrumental in reorganizing the Virginia operations. Arden Bourgeois also oversaw the development and implementation of AHA's new flagship laboratory in Columbia, MD which has launched them as the premier senior care clinical diagnostic facility in the Virginia, MD and DC area.

Managing Partner at Mid Atlantic Laboratory Services
February 2008 - December 2011Arden Bourgeois and partner Robert Sutherland stated Mid Atlantic Laboratory Services, LLC in Richmond, VA on February 2008. Mid Atlantic Laboratory, also known as Midalabs was the only independent laboratory in the region for physicians, hospitals and nursing facilities giving them a competitive chose to the incumbent laboratories. Midalabs was originally partnered with Vista Laboratories of Orlando Florida but was replaced for geographic reasons with Millennium Laboratory of Raleigh, NC. In 2010 Arden Bourgeois and Robert Sutherlin added a third partner, Lisa Horton, a well-respected laboratory manager with 20 years hospital and independent laboratory experience. Together they setup the first of Midalabs physical laboratories in Richmond, VA. Midalabs was a full service laboratory providing physisians and nursing homes with highly accurate and timely results. Midalabs quickly took over the Richmond market securing agreements with majority of the senior care facilities. Arden Bourgeois and Robert Sutherlin's achieved their goal in setting up a laboratory which catered to customers who were uninsured or had not met their deductible with rates 50-80% less than the national laboratories. As a result of Midalabs success in the nursing home market they were a perfect solution for American Health Associate Laboratories expansion in the Mid-Atlantic.

September 2000 - May 2003Developed and managed Internet product roll-out including Dial-up Modem/ DSL/ ISDN/ T1 and Fiber services. Developed and managed the construction and sales of the "Bunker" co-location facility. Developed and implemented the sale and lease of Cavaliers multi-million dollar switches and fiber network including pots service, leased fiber/ bandwidth services for Cavalier's wholesale customers to include telco's, wireless carriers and Internet providers.

June 1998 - August 2000Virginia's first Digital Subscriber Line company. Partnered with Network Access Solutions to deliver high speed internet in Richmond, VA and surrounding areas. Company was merged into Cavalier Telephone in 2000.

August 1995 - August 2000Crystal Innovations started as a business computer builder and network installation company. Crystal Innovations worked with business and medical customers installing and maintaining computer systems, networks, writing customer specific programs and developing websites and internet services in Virginia. Crystal Innovations had offices in Richmond, VA, Newport News, VA and Rockville, MD. Crystal Innovations was sold to Networking Solutions in the summer of 2000.

Owner at Internet Tunneling Concepts
February 1996 - August 1999Internet Tunneling Concepts developed a data encryption and delivery process called Internet Private Network Tunneling (IPNT) utilizing encryption, encapsulation and authentication. This technology was under patent pending through the patent attorneys of MCI. The merger of MCI/ Worldcom disrupted and delayed the finalization of the patent process. IPNT was used to save hundreds of thousands of dollars in expensive telcom infrastructure in the medical industry before being replaced with Virtual Private Networking.

March 1996 - February 1999Purchased and sold Internet Domain Names. Some names included unitedartists.com, brooksbrothers.com, josabanks.com, babygap.com and dozens more. Siliconprops helped to pave the future of the internet by fighting to keep deregulation of corporate patent infringement, thus keeping the internet free of corporate control. Several of the interns went on to be instumental in many of todays largest Internet and technology companies.

Solutions Partner at TECHEAD
August 2013Techead is a 25 year old staffing, training and solutions company in Richmond, VA. Arden Bourgeois joined the team to support the staffing but with an emphasis on solutions. In his first 6 months Arden's team developed a medical dashboard product, through a grant from CMS for Hospitals & Physician Groups. The role of this dashboard is to provide measures and analytic's for the various requirements and payment structures introduced with the Affordable Healthcare Act. Arden Bourgeois is also focused on iBeacon, a new technology that is quickly being adopted by the retail and commercial markets. Continuing to be ahead of the industry, Arden Bourgeois and Techead have developed iBeacon products for retail, workforce tracking, parking, real estate and retail auto sales. Unlike their competitors this is working technology not case studies and white papers.
